Things that can be helpful. Aloe Vera drinks. Find a good quality one, The Forever Living brand is a good one Slippery elm or marshmallow supplements. Again, find a quality one with our additives where possible. Eat regularly, no large portions Cabbage water and chicken soup. Both are very healing. The L L-glutamine in the cabbage water is vital for gut health. Quite often, colitis sufferers have a condition called leaky gut syndrome too, which means they are unable to retain some nutrients in the foods they eat. L Glutamine helps with this. Naturally, there is L-Glutamine in cabbage water. There is more in the water than the cabbage itself. Use this along with chicken broth made with boiled chicken bones. Boil for at least 2 hours. Both together are incredibly healing! Probiotics. There are loads on the market. You are looking for high-strength, multi-strain probiotics. Wheatgrass. Buy online or in some health food stores. Use in smoothy recipes, which is another way to get the best healing for your gut. Yucca, this amazing supplement, is helpful to calm the bowel down. When loose bowels cause you to become uncomfortable, this can have a powerful effect of balancing the bowel and reducing the urgency to go. All of this is helpful advice which can go towards a healthier gut. Reasons why someone has inflammation can vary, and you should discuss with your GP. Everyone is different, and a personalised look at your individual health is recommended. Finding a solution to your health concerns takes consideration to lots of different factors. Lifestyle Diet Medication Supplements Environment Emotions All things that can have an effect on our health. Mrs P, age 54 came to me in clinic with headaches, lower back pain and IBS. She developed headaches 10 years ago after a stressful divorce so took over the counter medication to help reduce the discomfort. Her bowels became an issue and she found she could not always control herself, sometime she would go for 4-5 days then only was able to pass a pebble sized motion. Other times she was running to the loo and life became difficult so she then started taking Imodium to stop the accidents. Her lower back issues began but she could not figure out what had caused it. She had not suffered with her back before so saw her GP who gave her muscle relaxants to see if that could help. Having struggled and trying different things to get back in control of her health, Mrs P came to see me and see if the Health Analysis that I offer could give any insight into why was feeling the ways she does. Through ASYRA Pro Health Analysis and consultation, we were able to identify the following imbalances and find solutions to restore balance. Stress levels increased initially due to a difficult divorce. Stress can cause headaches. Medication taken to reduce the headaches. Paracetamol can have a poor effect on the bowel. Bowels became an issue as a result of the medication. Bowels and lower back are often connected both physically and emotionally. Recommended Treatment: Mrs P has less stress 10 years after divorce but continues to take medication for headaches. Her stress is for a different reason now so finding ways to combat stress can help. Herbal remedies can be helpful and certain vitamins help support the stress hormone Cortisol. Support in the right place can help the body to balance and then you can stop or reduce the need for painkillers. Some medication can build up in the body and then go on to cause headaches so a detox herbal remedy was recommended to see if that can help. Hormone Balance found that Mrs P was at the start of menopause. This natural occurrence can be problematic and support by avoiding some foods that “feed” the problem and nutritional support can help to balance. Looking at the Food Sensitivity part of the analysis we identified that Mrs P has a sensitivity to dairy. Many women can find this is a problem when their hormones are out of balance. Once hormones are balanced the dairy sensitivity tends to reduce. Dairy sensitivity can be a reason why someone suffers from IBS along with other foods or foods groups. Checking Nutritional Balance is important. A body cannot work properly without the right fuel. Emotional Stress . With a full health analysis, we include analysis for Emotional Balance. The Mind/Body connection is so combined, when we have an emotional upset our physical body will often develop symptoms. Our language helps us understand this with some of the expressions we use. “I’m livid!” Anger is held in our liver. “A gut feeling” Intuition derives in our guts. Emotional trauma is held in the lower back, divorce is a huge emotional trauma so it unsurprising that Mrs P’s back began being problematic after going through a difficult time. Treating with homeopathy and Flower Remedies we can begin supporting and treating the emotional issues that can be an anchor to health concerns. Toxins and Heavy Metals build up over time and can be eliminated with the help of herbs and juices. They can come from insecticides, vaccines, medication, household products and more. Peeling back the layers of what is happening to an individual is key to getting to grips with the whole person. Looking at each symptom rather the overall picture allows a balanced view to find the right solution for each person. The one pill fits all approach is not helpful. After all we are all different! Mrs P writes….. I have struggled for years to find ways to feel better. I was desperate and have taken many different pills and potions but nothing really worked, they just masked my symptoms rather than find out what is really going. Clare actually listened to me and took a different approach. She found things that I hadn’t told her about and uncovered issues that I had forgotten about that still needed treatment. Some things went back to my childhood! My slight change of diet was difficult at first as I do love cheese. Clare explained that it may only be short term and it was. 6 weeks later after the herbal remedy balanced my hormones, I not only feel loads better but can now eat dairy again. I have not needed paracetamol as I don’t get headaches any more. My bowels are working normally after 10 years. I cannot believe the difference. I would highly recommend seeing Clare who has given me a new lease of life. I wish I had seen Clare in the beginning rather than start on a path that just made things worse. Thank you Clare X

There are several reasons why you might suffer a panic attack. Stress is the main trigger but you can still get one even if you are not feeling stressed. Everyone’s different, what is a cause for one may not be the same for you. You may only have one in your life or be someone that has one every so often. You may find that being at a particular place triggers and attack. Most attacks last between 5-20 minutes. Managing an attack is key to faster recovery. Focus on your breathing, slowly in through the nose and out through the mouth. Count to five with each in and out breath. Panicking causes you to hyperventilate, giving too much oxygen to the brain could cause you to faint. After an attack take time to recover. Find a quiet place and have a warm drink. (Nothing alcoholic or containing caffeine) Speak to someone you trust, preferably in person but if not a phone call will help. Vitamin B6 is often low in people who suffer panic attacks. taking the correct dose can significantly help. Low iron can also be a factor. Avoid caffeine, this can have a poor effect on your Adrenal Glands which produce Adrenaline.
