           Speak to your doctor about other medications you are taking, which might aggravate your gut.

           Eat regularly, no large portions

           Cabbage water and chicken soup. Both are very healing. The L L-glutamine in the cabbage water is vital for gut health. Quite often, colitis sufferers have a condition called leaky gut syndrome too, which means they are unable to retain some nutrients in the foods they eat. L Glutamine helps with this.            I am Clare Gale, Naturopathic practitioner for more than 25 years and in 2024 I found out I have a gene mutation which has changed my life. I was living with chronic pain and could not understand why. I eat well, avoid alcohol, processed foods and exercise.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           In 2011 I sat on the wrong end of a sun bed and tore a muscle in my lower back. I have seen every specialist, had several medical procedures, have regular chiropractic treatments and taken medication but still I lived in constant extreme pain. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Before my accident I was jogging most days, swam and went to gym 4 times a week and lived a happy, healthy lifestyle. I got a job on a cruise ship and knew I would need extra energy so at that point I started taking a good quality multivitamin. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           All my life I seemed unable to tolerate most medication, I had various side effects to many prescription drugs which made them intolerable to me. The heat and inflammation in my body caused my muscles to burn with pain, especially at the area of back injury. Exercise made it worse. 5 years ago, it was so bad I was walking with two sticks. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Both through the NHS and privately and saw several specialists from spinal surgeons to rheumatologists but no solution could be found. All of my body hurt but the worse part was my lower back. The physiotherapists recommend exercise but the more I did, the worse I got. The pain was unbearable.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I did find some relief through herbs and nutrition, the natural world did offer some solutions, but not everything….what was going on with me?
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Constantly in search of a solution I spoke to a physiotherapist who casually mentioned that he thought I may have a gene SNIP. I had no idea what he was talking about and went on to do some research, it seems he was right….in fact I have two!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Subsequently I have realised that most medical professionals have never heard of MTHFR.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I sent my DNA off to a specialist company who analysed my sample and sent me a detailed report. Understanding this report allowed me to realise why I had been having so much pain and why it was happening. It also gave information as to what I could do to reduce my suffering. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           MTHFR is a mutation in the gene, also known as a polymorphism, defect or variation and can be passed down from your parents.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           MTHFR is a critical enzyme in the body. It's required for a metabolic process that repairs DNA, switches genes on and off, and numerous other important functions.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           C677T and A1298C are the most well-studied and tested MTHFR mutations, these are my two.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           This number and letter sequence refers to what is known as a single nucleotide polymorphism or SNP (pronounced “snip”). 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           MTHFR mutations are actually quite common, and researchers suspect there are at least 30 different types.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           For me, what happened was I was taking a high quality multivitamin which of course contains Folic Acid. Folic acid is the artificial form of vitamin B9 and common in most multivitamins. For people with MTHFR mutations, most of us are unable to methylate (process) this nutrient. In turn our liver and kidneys produce high levels of homocysteine which in turn causes inflammation. This inflammation attacks areas of weakness or injury such as my lower back.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           This lightbulb moment made me realise why I was struggling with so much pain for so many years. But what could I do to reduce the homocysteine levels and reduce my pain. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Of course I stopped taking the multivitamin with folic acid in which was the first and most vital thing to start my healing process. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I contacted a MTHFR specialist in America and was given advice to how to balance my body through lifestyle changes and nutrition. Everyone is different so what works for one may not be right for all. For me I now take a high dose of Methyl Folate (natural form of B9) vitamins B6 and B12. At all costs I avoid Folic Acid which to me is a poison! I eat well, avoid processed foods, alcohol and artificial sweeteners.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           I am now about 70% better than I have been in the last 10 years and continue to improve daily. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Folic acid in food. As folic acid is an artificial nutrient, in fresh food it does not exist, only methyl folate the natural form that is fine and actually good for us. However….. there is legislation that has been passed in the UK to say in 2026 ALL white flour MUST have folic acid added to it. So all foods made using this white flour such as bread, cakes, pastry, pasta, some sauces etc will contain it. In most countries of Europe and USA this is already the case.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Brown flour is fine, so I can eat brown bread which I prefer anyway, but I do love cakes and won’t me able to eat unless made with brown flour…it just won’t be the same!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Allowing my body to feel normal again is the best thing, avoiding these trigger foods is a small price to pay to be able to do all the things I love like gardening and dancing which I have not been able to do in recent years. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           My day job as a Natural Health Practitioner I use a Bio Resonance computer to analysis hair sample to help identify imbalances in the body. I can look at things like system and organ function, nutritional levels, hormone balance, food sensitivities, toxins and much more. I was part way there for helping myself but I didn’t have all the facts. They are only available through DNA testing. The volume switch for my symptoms is now turned down low allowing me to continue life in much better place and now have low levels of pain and improving daily. 
          &#xD;

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

           Mrs P, age 54 came to me in clinic with headaches, lower back pain and IBS. She developed headaches 10 years ago after a stressful divorce so took over the counter medication to help reduce the discomfort.

           Be responsible with your money. Try to keep tabs on your spending and don't get into debt.

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Smile at others, you will receive a smile back. When you smile, your brain releases dopamine, endorphins and serotonin. These neurotransmitters are associated with lowering your anxiety and increasing feelings of happiness.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Don’t forget to breathe! When stressed we often hold our breath which does not help. Take some slow deep breaths each day and remember….we all have stress….it’s just how we cope with it!

          Have you ever wondered if artificial sweeteners and additives in foods are having a poor effect on your health?
         &#xD;

           Many pre-packed foods contain additives to give them better shelf life, make them look a better colour or give a better flavour.
          &#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Sweeter foods may contain artificial sweeteners to reduce the sugar content, but are these things good for our health?
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           A study found on the internet show ants gathering around cane sugar and avoiding artificial sweeteners. When the ants were given only artificial sweetener the mortality of them increased by 80%. The ants actually went out of their way to avoid the artificial sweetener, to me that speak volumes. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Some countries have now banned it, so how come we can still buy it and foods made with it?
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Our bodies know how to metabolise real sugar, but it struggles to work out artificial substances and some people may develop symptoms because of them. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Stephen.R. a 52 year old man, recently posted me a hair sample for analysis. He was looking for help with an extreme skin condition on his hands. The doctor had diagnosed dermatitis and prescribed steroid cream. His problem has been going on for several months without much improvement so he was looking for alternative treatments. Having done an analysis, I found two things that stood out. One was a reaction to artificial sweeteners and second, poor gut bacteria. Upon my advice he stopped drinking diet coke and took some probiotics, after six weeks he began to find improvement with his hands. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           My work involves finding reasons why a person is symptomatic. This can be done either in my Storrington clinic or via hair sample sent in the post. Once we find the imbalances causing symptoms and make changes through diet and/or supplementation, health improves and symptoms reduce.

           Dry, oily, spotty, itchy, blotchy are all words to describe our skin. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Few of us can claim perfect skin all the time, but what makes it behave in a way
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    
          that causes us a challenge?
         &#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Nutrition, hormones, hydration, food sensitivity and toxicity are all things that can affect our skin. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

           The first place to start is by looking at hydration. Do you think you drink enough each day to help your body function well? 1.5-2 litres per day is what is recommended which not only helps hydrate our skin but flushes toxins from your liver too. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Skin will show what is happening in your liver, so when you have an issue, ask yourself what has your liver had to deal with?
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Alcohol, medication, poor diet, atmospheric pollutants are just some of the things our livers have to deal with day to day. Fresh fruit and veg are really helpful to cleanse our livers and there are some lovely herbal remedies that can support good liver function too. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

           Gemma is a client of mine seen in my Storrington clinic who had extreme dermatitis on her hands. She works as a nail technician and was having to work in cotton gloves. Her hands we open wounds, bleeding and extremely painful which made her depressed. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           She had seen several specialists who were not able to help. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           We looked at toxicity in her body and she made some changes to her diet. She took a liver cleanse herbal remedy along with some good omega oils. When I saw her for an 8 week follow up, her hands were 99% better.

           One of the more common things I find in clinic is that people eat and drink foods that they are intolerant to.

           10-15% of the population have food intolerance that can cause many different symptoms. Common ones include bloating, digestive issues and skin complaints.

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Many suffers of eczema have a lactose or dairy intolerance. Up to 70% of people with Arthritis are intolerant to either gluten or nightshade foods. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Master F (8 years old) came into my Storrington clinic with his Mum as he had eczema on his legs. We identified that some of the jelly sweets he particularly liked contained an additive that he was reacting too. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Having investigated many things including household chemicals and cleaning agents, we also found was reacting to an enzyme in the laundry soap. We looked at good gut bacteria and found that was low. Collectively they all gave a picture of which things we needed to focus on and when the things that irritated him were changed the eczema cleared up.

           Vitamin D helps regulate the amount of calcium and phosphate in the body.

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           These nutrients are needed to keep bones, teeth and muscles healthy
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Good sources of vitamin D
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           From about late March/early April to the end of September, most people should be able to make all the vitamin D they need from sunlight.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           The body creates vitamin D from direct sunlight on the skin when outdoors.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           But between October and early March we do not make enough vitamin D from sunlight. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Vitamin D is also found in a small number of foods
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            oily fish – such as salmon, sardines, herring and mackerel

      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            red meat
           &#xD;

           From about late March/early April to the end of September, the majority of people should be able to make all the vitamin D they need from sunlight on their skin.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Children from the age of 1 year and adults need 10 micrograms of vitamin D a day. This includes pregnant and breastfeeding women, and people at risk of vitamin D deficiency.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Babies up to the age of 1 year need 8.5 to 10 micrograms of vitamin D a day.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           A microgram is 1,000 times smaller than a milligram (mg). The word microgram is sometimes written with the Greek symbol μ followed by the letter g (μg).
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Sometimes the amount of vitamin D is expressed as International Units (IU). 1 microgram of vitamin D is equal to 40 IU. So 10 micrograms of vitamin D is equal to 400 IU.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Should I take a vitamin D supplement?
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Advice for adults and children over 4 years old
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           During the autumn and winter, you need to get vitamin D from your diet because the sun is not strong enough for the body to make vitamin D.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           You should consider taking a daily supplement containing 10 micrograms of vitamin D throughout the year.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           What happens if I take too much vitamin D?
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Taking too many vitamin D supplements over a long period of time can cause too much calcium to build up in the body (hypercalcaemia). This can weaken the bones and damage the kidneys and the heart.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           If you choose to take vitamin D supplements, 10 micrograms a day will be enough for most people.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Do not take more than 100 micrograms (4,000 IU) of vitamin D a day as it could be harmful. This applies to adults, including pregnant and breastfeeding women and the elderly, and children aged 11 to 17 years.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Children aged 1 to 10 years should not have more than 50 micrograms (2,000 IU) a day. Infants under 12 months should not have more than 25 micrograms (1,000 IU) a day.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Some people have medical conditions that mean they may not be able to safely take as much. If in doubt ask a health professional.

           A food intolerance is difficulty digesting certain foods and having an unpleasant physical reaction to them. It causes symptoms, such as bloating and tummy pain, skin rashes or itching which usually happen a few hours after eating the food.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Some people react to the additives in the foods or the crop spray used as a pesticide or anti fungal spray. Washing has little effect to these as they are formulated to be rain resistant. Washing with 10% white wine vinegar and water solution can help wash off some of the additives.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Some foods can affect our mood too. Additives and “E” numbers can cause low mood and tiredness in adults and hyperactivity in children.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Identifying foods that are having a poor effect is part of the analysis that I use to help people restore their health. Screening for more than 300 every day foods, chemicals and additives plays an important part in helping you restore optimal health.

          czema is condition that causes the skin to become itchy, dry and cracked. Atopic eczema is more common in children, often developing before their first birthday. But it may also develop for the first time in adults.
         &#xD;

    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Causes vary and include, extended exposure to dry air, extreme heat or cold. Some types of soap, shampoo, bubble bath, body wash, facial cleansers, laundry detergents and fabric softeners.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Emotional stress can also trigger an eczema flare-up. Some people’s eczema symptoms and flare-ups get worse when they’re feeling “stressed.” Others may become stressed, just knowing they have eczema, and this can make their skin flare up.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

           Jean had a chronic form of eczema on her hands which caused bleeding. She took to wearing cotton gloves and used a prescribed cream but nothing helped. Looking at her diet it was clear what she was eating was of significance.

           JR is a client of mine who struggled with fibromyalgia for many years. This extremely painful and debilitating condition causes muscular and joint pain and stiffness amongst other symptoms. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Age 54 she developed fibromyalgia and became so poorly had to give up her job and was put on medication. She felt this did not help much as although her pain eased a little, she developed other symptoms including weight gain which then caused depression. Feeling totally at a loss reached out to me.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
